Kind en Gezin
Free preventive medical support is provided by Kind en Gezin for all children born in Oost-Vlaanderen up to the age of 2.5. This includes growth and development control, e vaccinations, nutritional, educational and social support. After birth, the nurse from Kind en Gezin visits you in in the maternity ward to introduce the service, and several times at home. Regular check-ups at the Consultatiebureau are scheduled.
Both mums and dads are welcome. There is always a Consultatiebureau near your home.
